High-Tech Dental Office Means Patient Satisfaction and Top Quality Smile Makeovers by Jayden Adams

In this high tech, fast-paced world, most dental offices find it difficult to keep up with the changing technology, as fast as it's released. But Beverly Hills cosmetic dentist, Paul O'Malley likes to make sure to stay on top of the changes as they come available to him.

"I find that with each upgrade in the technology of dentistry, my smile makeover patients have better care, higher quality work and less pain.", explains Dr. O'Malley. "It is exciting to see year-to-year what comes. The caliber of care that we can now provide our patients with these state-of-the-art tools is superior to anything I ever imagined five years ago."

One patient, SE, describes his experience with the office. "I especially liked the high technology in his practice. He has the best technology to limit the time and the pain. After seeing all the technology I realized a person really wants the best technology. The IntraOral Camera alone is impressive. Also, the computerized X-rays - they are so fast. I'm from back east and I can tell you a lot of dentists are not up to speed. I recommended a friend of mine at Virgin Records to the office. The doctor put veneers on his teeth and he has been real happy!"

"I came into the office and met everyone.", he continues. "The way I was spoken to on the phone and the way I was treated by the assistant - he walked me to the bathroom like an old school gentleman. Then, all the high tech X-rays that take 1/10th of the time - no discomfort. The office manager was amazing, gentle professional, encouraging on the phone."

Dr. O'Malley uses IntraOral Cameras, which are pen-shaped cameras that the dentist uses to show patients with clarity each tooth and gum surface in the mouth. The digital X-ray system takes three seconds to transfer the image to the computer and gives the doctor the ability to magnify, colorize, and alter the density of the image. With digital x-rays the patient receive 90% less radiation than conventional x-rays and they can be emailed. There is no bio-hazardous x-ray solution required; therefore there is no negative impact on the environment.

Finding a dentist with high-tech tools is a good move toward high quality cosmetic dentistry and overall patient satisfaction. Smile makeovers are more efficient and therefore completed faster with state-of-the-art equipment.
